Story
On 2nd November I will be competing in the Dovedale Dash, a cross country race of 4¾ miles. The race takes place around Thorpe and Dovedale and includes a quick dash through the River Dove! All money raised will go to the Mick Knighton Mesothelioma Research Fund. A charity close to my heart after losing my Dad to Mesothelioma in March 2013. My Dad loved Derbyshire, a love he passed on to me, so running around the Derbyshire countryside to raise money in his memory seems a good place to start!Updates

30th October 2014Thank you for all your kind words of love and support. It's lovely to hear from you all sharing your memories of dad and remembering him with such obvious love.
Thanks to your generosity you've left my target far behind, something I probably won't be able to say for most of my competition on Sunday. But I'll give it my best shot!
I'll be joined by some very special friends Abi and Rich who are running the Dash with me to raise money for MKMRF. Thanks guys you're brilliant! xx

Smashed it Already!
5th October 2014Well all you lovely generous people in less than 12 hours you have smashed my target! Thank you very much to all of you. I hope you don't think me greedy but in anticipation of more support for this important cause I've upped my target to £125.
